Belarus’ embassy in Hungary marks 105 years of Belarusian diplomatic service

MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) — The Belarusian Embassy in Hungary held a round table to mark the 105th anniversary of the Belarusian diplomatic service, BelTA learned from the Belarusian foreign office in Budapest.

Belarus’ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary Vladimir Ulakhovich made a video presentation about the Belarusian diplomacy to retrace the history of its development. The presentation included rare archival materials, events significant for Belarus and the role of Belarusian diplomats in its history.  

Attending the event were the ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Charge d’Affaires of Serbia to Hungary, ex-ambassador of Hungary to Russia.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the participants of the meeting recalled shared history, discussed cooperation between the states at the present stage, and outlined joint plans for the future.
